In Anjaam, if he portrayed a negative role, in Karan Arjun, he played the character of a revenge seeking son. In Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ), he acted as a happy go lucky man who finally does everything to get her lady love. For Anjaam, he got the best villain award and for DDLJ he was awarded the best actor trophy.
Yess Boss, Dil To Pagal Hai, Dil Se, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Pardes, Duplicate, Veer-Zaara, Main Hoon Na, Swades, Paheli, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Chak De India and Don- The Chase Begins Again, are only a few movies in the list of over hundred films he has done.
